What do you require from myself at time of order?
We require signed confirmation, credit card payment and a limited amount of text for your links and banners. If you forward the information to us within two weeks of purchase then we can use your content. However, if we do not receive this information in the specified time then we will use information from your web site to make sure that we keep to our service level agreement of four weeks.
What will happen once I have placed my order?
You will receive a welcome letter containing information and your
invoice. Your order will automatically be put into the production schedule.
How many hits or impressions can I expect to get through Multibanners?
We provide an offering which in total receives over 10 million unique
users per month. You will receive 5000 guaranteed impressions on Ask Jeeves.
If necessary other key words relating to your business will be used to ensure
you receive these impressions. We do not, however, guarantee how many hits or
impressions phrases on other search engines will receive, however you will be
advertised over a 12 month period.
Why is my Ask Jeeves banner rotational? To clarify "rotational" means that your banner will not be the only banner shown under your chosen key phrase. The majority of banners on this search engine are rotational but you will receive 5000 impressions.
Can you tell me how many click throughs I have received? We have new business development representatives who will discuss how effective your banners are.
Where will my banner be positioned? In a prominent position towards the Top of the first results page of your chosen search engine, namely www.ask.co.uk, www.hotbot.co.uk, www.lycos.co.uk and www.touch.co.uk
Why do I pay a monthly fee? For the promotional page and creative banner with full animation.
What are the benefits of a promotional page?
We need to deliver relevant search results to a network of
over 10 million users per month. A Banner click-through needs to result in a
good user experience (i.e. the customer will find exactly what they require).
The promotional page enables this. The client has full access to post special
offers, news, etc. An effective promotional page is one that attracts attention
and has relevance to the users search.
How is my promotional page constructed? The content of the promotional page is input by you, the client. The promotional page is set within a standard frame, which is self- publishing, so in effect you have full control. There will be a help icon on the page with all the relevant details so that you can submit your information with ease.

If I choose to design my own banner how do I forward my design to you?
All new designs can be sent to: info@seo-web-design.co.uk.

must
be sent within five working days of the order being placed.
What is the lead-time for producing my banner / ad product? As stated in the Customer Charter we guarantee to have your banner live on the Internet within 4 weeks. However we will endeavour to upload your banner, as soon as production schedules will allow.
Will I receive a copy of my banner for approval? Yes, this will be sent to the e-mail address given at the time of order. If this e-mail is not responded to within 48 hours we will upload the current design. Once approved any additional redesigns will be subject to additional cost.
Will I be informed when my banner is live on Lycos? Once we have received your approval the banner should be live within 5 working days.
Can my banner be redirected to another URL or specific page on my website? Yes, we offer this service 3 times per annum, if required, at no additional cost. Touch will not be held responsible for the links to any website. The linked website should be relevant to the keyword or keyphrase chosen.
What if I want to upgrade my banner from a static banner to a creative banner?
No problem, just email us at info@seo-web-design.co.uk
with
your
company details and we will call you within the next 48 hours. Alternatively
please feel free to contact your new business development representatives with
your requirements.
What happens when my banner is due for renewal? We have a dedicated renewal team who will contact you a month prior to the renewal date, to ensure you receive first refusal on your Lycos keyword.
What else will I need to know?
We do not guarantee any amount of hits that a banner will receive.Only
graphical banners with limited text will be uploaded under a keyword or keyphrase.
Ad placements are not uploaded and revoked at any time if associated with anything pornagraphic, illegal or against any new internet/advertising laws or against the guidelines of the search engine itself. The renewal payment is reviewed depending on the number of impressions gained during the previous year.
